Voice of America: "Texting 101" Activity

Learning design principles encourage that lessons replicate the actual circumstances of the environment in which the learner applies the learned skill.

The subject of this lesson made immersion a crucial element of the visual design. To accomplish this, Photoshop was used to create various cell phone designs and dramatic graphics to visually reinforce the lesson objective. In addition, the audio features strong sound effects mixed in with the voiceover to add additional impact.
